Business Disputes

Heard Law Firm has an extensive business litigation practice in every part of Texas, across the Southwest and throughout the U.S. We combine thorough case analysis, intense preparation and an emphasis on offense to zealously represent plaintiffs and defendants before judges, juries, and arbitrators. Unlike large firms that relish unproductive billable hours, we focus on results and work up every case with the assumption that it will go to trial. Most importantly, our success is measured by our client’s litigation goals and business needs, not ours. We are so confident in our approach that we are able to offer our clients alternatives to the typical hourly fee arrangement such as reverse contingency fees and success only fees.

If your business is on the line and you need aggressive, result-oriented representation, call Heard Law Firm today.

The possibility of a border wall threatens Texas land owners and communities – prepare now to protect your rights. A wall spanning the length of the Texas border will require government seizure of private land on a scale never seen before. Congress is set to debate in the next few months funding for two important pieces of the Trump administration's plans to build more physical barriers on the U.S.-Mexico border.  A new report, however, commissioned by Democratic members of the House Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee notes that Trump has not provided a detailed estimate of the cost or process for acquiring the private land in Texas needed to construct the wall.

Heard Law Firm is monitoring the situation and offering to defend land owners on a contingency fee basis.  This means no fee is owed our firm unless you receive just compensation from the government for your land.
