The possibility of a border wall threatens Texas land owners and communities – prepare now to protect your rights. A wall spanning the length of the Texas border will require government seizure of private land on a scale never seen before. Congress is set to debate in the next few months funding for two important pieces of the Trump administration's plans to build more physical barriers on the U.S.-Mexico border. A new report, however, commissioned by Democratic members of the House Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee notes that Trump has not provided a detailed estimate of the cost or process for acquiring the private land in Texas needed to construct the wall.
Heard Law Firm is monitoring the situation and offering to defend land owners on a contingency fee basis. This means no fee is owed our firm unless you receive just compensation from the government for your land.
